What AGsoundtrax is and how to hear music in the next ten seconds.
AGsoundtrax is a curated stock music library: production music for film, television, commercials and new media, written and produced by real composers. Every track is handpicked, and nothing in the catalog is AI generated.
Browse the full catalog, start from a collection, or meet the composers.
Press play on any row and the track starts immediately. The player travels with you: open an artist page or a collection mid-listen and the music keeps going.
Most tracks come with alternate versions: timed cuts, loops and underscores. Rows that have them show a versions chip; open the track page to hear each one.
With no search or filters, the Music tab orders the catalog by Popularity: featured tracks first, then a popularity weighted arrangement that refreshes a little every few minutes, so the same handful of tracks does not sit on top forever. Use the Sort control to switch to Most played, Recently added, BPM or Duration.

The search box on Browse understands titles, artists, genres and moods in plain words. Search results are ranked by how well they match; everything else on the page (the count, the filters, the chips) follows the same search.
Filters live on the left of Browse: Genre, Mood, Tempo, Musical key, Length, Vocals, Energy, Build, Instruments, Video theme, Good for, Sounds like, Era and Versions available.
The panel is open by default. The arrow on its edge folds it into a slim drawer that opens whenever your mouse crosses the left side of the page, and the pushpin pins it back open. Your choice is remembered on this browser. Every active filter appears as a chip above the results and each chip removes independently; Clear all resets everything at once.
Musical key is a grid, not a list: pick major or minor, then tap the roots you can work with. Useful when a track has to sit under a voice or against other music.
Signed in, you can keep any search (words, filters and sort, all of it) with Save this search. Your saved searches wait in the Dashboard and reopen exactly as you left them.
Describe the scene in your own words; Brief writes the filters.
Brief is a different front door to the same catalog. Instead of choosing filters, you describe what you are scoring ("a warm reunion scene, acoustic, builds slowly, about ninety seconds") and Brief translates that into the catalog's own filters and plays you the matches.
The picks always come from the real catalog. Brief writes the search; the library answers it.
Free watermarked demos to cut with, hearts to keep, playlists to share.
Every track and every version can be downloaded as a free MP3 demo; sign in with a free account and each demo is one click. Demos carry an audible watermark, so you can cut them into your edit and show the client before any money moves. The clean files arrive with the license.
Signed in, the heart on any row saves the track to your favorites. They wait in your Dashboard, which also suggests tracks in the same spirit as the ones you hearted.
Build playlists from any track's row or from your Dashboard. Every playlist has its own share page: send the link privately to a colleague or post it anywhere, and nobody needs an account to listen.
The fastest way to the exact tracks and genre you are looking for, without going over hundreds of tracks: describe the playlist in plain words ("warm acoustic openers for a family documentary") and pick a size, and our smart search engine builds it from the catalog for you.
You will find it in the Playlists tab of your Dashboard. The list it drafts is yours to edit: add, remove, reorder, then manage it like any playlist and share it publicly or privately with your colleagues. The same engine also answers plain-language searches at Brief.
When a playlist has settled into the tracks you actually want, request a quote on it from the Dashboard. That opens a ticket with our team with the playlist attached, and the conversation continues in your email.
How licensing works, what you get, and what happens on YouTube.
AGsoundtrax music is royalty free: you license a track once and use it in your project for the life of that project, with no further payments and no royalty reports. You keep working with the watermarked demos while you decide; the clean masters unlock when the license is in place.
The licenses page describes the options. For a campaign, a series, or anything licensed regularly, message us or send a playlist quote and we will shape it around the work.
Traditionally, production music was paid for every single broadcast use. Royalty free music replaces that with one license, paid once: no needle-drop fees, no cue sheets to us, no meter running. The long version lives on What is RFM?.
We do not require any usage reports. Your client or broadcaster may have their own paperwork, so check what they need on their side.
Yes. Publishing music on YouTube or Facebook is a use like any other, and an AGsoundtrax license covers it. The demo files are for testing inside your edit, never for publishing.
Every licensed track downloads as one archive from your Dashboard: the master WAV, the master MP3, every alternate version the library holds for that track, and your license certificate as a PDF. One button, everything the edit needs. The versions are included with the license; they are not sold separately.
The License.pdf inside your master ZIP names the licensee, the work, the license reference, the purchase date and every file delivered. Keep it with the project files; it is what a broadcaster's clearance department asks for.
A license drawn against a subscription says so on its certificate: it names the plan it was cleared under, Creator or Professional, what that plan permits, and that the clearance is permanent for work published while the subscription was active.

AGsoundtrax music is registered with Content ID through AdRev, which protects it (and your investment in it) from being claimed by strangers. Because of that, YouTube may show a "matched third party content" notice on your video. That is a notice, not a strike; nothing bad has happened to your channel.
Clearing it is quick: dispute the claim with your license certificate, or simply message us with the video link and your license reference and we file the clearance for you. Details and the long version live on AdRev and YouTube. If you license from us regularly, ask us about pre-clearing your whole channel.
Scoring a series, a game, or a catalog of ads? Build a playlist of what you need and request a quote on it, or message us with the shape of the project. Volume deserves a proposal, not a shopping cart.
Yes. Creator is $19 a month or $199 a year and carries 50 licenses a month; Professional is $49 a month or $499 a year and carries 200, with stem separation included.

Simple rule: when something goes wrong with a payment, the mistake is resolved in your favour. An unused license is refundable in full for 14 days, and a wrong-scope license gets swapped or refunded. The whole policy is on the refund page, written to be read.

One license is one track. Your remaining licenses are shown beside your avatar while you are signed in, and in full on the Plan & billing tab of your Dashboard.
Pay-per-track licenses are priced by three questions: how many people will see the work, how large the company paying for it is, and how much is being spent to promote it. A subscription answers those questions once, for every track you take under it.
Creator covers work at the first two levels: your own channels, your own projects, smaller productions and modest promotion.
Professional covers all three, including the largest level: client work, agency work, and campaigns with real media spend behind them. On Professional the license carries to your client, which is what makes it the plan for anyone billing somebody else.
If a project is bigger than your plan covers, buy that one track outright at the level it needs, or move up to Professional. When you are unsure which side of the line a job sits on, ask us before you deliver it.
Stems come with a Professional subscription, and with any track bought outright at any license level.
A Creator subscription does not include stems. If you are on Creator and need the layers of one particular track, buy that track outright and the stems option opens on it.
Everything lives on the Plan & billing tab of your Dashboard: the meter, the renewal date, the plan you are on and the one you are not.
Nothing changes on a single press. Choose the plan or the billing period you want and we ask Stripe for the exact figure first, then show it to you and wait: the amount, the date, and what it does to this month's allowance. The change only happens when you confirm it.
Cancel from the Plan & billing tab of your Dashboard. Nothing is cut off the moment you press it.
Everything you published while subscribed stays cleared, permanently. A subscription license does not lapse when the subscription does.
Work you have not published yet is the part to watch. These licenses clear work released while a plan is running, so a project that goes out after your plan ends needs either a live subscription or a license bought for that track. If an edit is still sitting in your timeline, publish it before the period ends or keep the plan running until it does.
Changed your mind before the period ends? One press on the same tab keeps the plan running and nothing is lost.
Buy per track when licensing is occasional, or when one project is much bigger than the rest of your work. You pay for what that project actually is, once, and nothing renews.
Subscribe when you license regularly, and the arithmetic makes itself: at 50 licenses a month, Creator is a few cents a track.
The two live together happily. Subscribers buy tracks outright all the time, for a job above their plan's level, for stems on Creator, or simply after the month's allowance has run out.
What a license lets you do with the music, and the short list it does not.
Commercial use is any use that helps sell or promote a company, a product or a service. If the work the music sits in makes money or promotes something that does, license it as commercial; when in doubt, ask and we answer plainly.
Yes. Whatever license you hold, you may cut, loop, fade and rearrange the track as much as your picture needs. Most tracks already come with timed cuts and alternate versions, all included in your master ZIP.
What editing does not cover is turning the track into new music: recording instruments or vocals on top to release as a song is not allowed. Scoring your film with it, cut however you like, is exactly what it is for. If you need an alteration we should make for you (a longer cut, a version without a lead instrument), message us; that is often a small custom job.

Bought from the old AGsoundtrax store? Your history came with us.
If you licensed music from the previous AGsoundtrax store, sign in with the same email address you used back then. Your purchases, orders and downloads appear in your Dashboard automatically, going back to the beginning.
Every purchase in your history carries a Download ZIP button with the master WAV, the MP3, all versions and a fresh license certificate. No time limit; your licenses did not expire when the store changed.
If a purchase you remember is not in your history (a different email, a company address that changed hands), message us with whatever you have: the license number, the track name, or the old receipt. The old books came with us too, and we will connect it by hand.

Stems are the individual layers of a track (drums, bass, keys, and so on) separated so your mix can duck what fights the dialogue and keep what carries the scene.
Stems open on a track once you hold the right kind of license for it:
A Creator subscription does not include stems. To get the layers of one track while on Creator, buy that track outright and the option opens on it.
On a qualifying track's page, the stems option sends us the request; we prepare the separation and deliver it to your email as a ZIP, together with the stem terms as a PDF. Download links in the delivery stay live for thirty days, and your stems also appear in the Dashboard.
Sign in, your profile, and the room where everything of yours lives.
Sign up with Google or with your email and a password. If you sign in from a new device, we confirm it is you with a code sent to your email; that is normal, not an error.
Your Dashboard holds everything that is yours: favorites, playlists, saved searches, download history, recently played, your stems, and your license history with its master downloads.
Subscribers get one more room, Plan & billing: the licenses left this month, the renewal date, and the buttons that change or cancel the plan. See Subscriptions.
In the Dashboard you can set your name and upload your company logo; the logo becomes your avatar in the header. Your name stays in sync everywhere it appears.
An optional once-a-week email, Monday morning: a handful of new tracks worth your ears. It is off by default, lives under Notifications in the Dashboard, and a quiet week sends nothing at all.
Getting your music into the library, and what happens after.
We listen to everything. Send your work through the submission page; real ears review it, and you hear back either way. AGsoundtrax is human-composed only, and submissions are judged on craft, not on follower counts.
Composers in the library get their own portal with their catalog and profile. If you are already an AGsoundtrax composer and have not received your invitation, message us.

The Message us button on this page opens a direct line to the team. Signed in, we already know where to answer; visitors leave an email address. Attach screenshots or files if they help.
Every message opens a ticket with its own private page; the link arrives in your email. Reply on that page or simply answer the email, both land in the same conversation, attachments included. The whole thread stays readable at the link for whenever you need it.
Write to info@agsoundtrax.com. It is read by people, not by a queue robot, and it is the right address for license reissues, legacy history questions and anything sensitive.
